We often look back at a time where we assume life was simpler and maybe a little bit easier. Before long commutes and traffic jams became the norm, people depended on their legs for transportation. If lucky enough, a horse drawn carriage was used. During the late 1800s and early 1900s, street lights and signs had not been invented. Cities were busy and full of life, but it was a different type of noise. Today we see our streets filled with cars, before it was the actual people who created the most traffic. It’s hard to imagine what life looked life before the automobile, what did streets look like? Can you imagine living in a time where there was no hustle and bustle of traffic, congestion or even rush hour?
