Becoming a parent brings out a love that cannot be measured or described. It’s mixed emotions, from euphoria, doting adoration, and a lot of fears and self doubt. Nonetheless, when it comes to raising our offsprings, that’s when things begin to get complicated. Despite being young, children come with very set personalities and ways of doing things. Cartoonist, Brian Gordon has used his experience has a father of two as the inspiration for the series *Fowl Language*. Simple tasks can turn into a torturous struggle. “I love my kids more than life itself, but I find no joy reminding them for the millionth time to flush the toilet and wash their gross little hands,” explains Gordon. His illustrations on parenthood are simultaneously, funny and heartwarming. Who knew mothers and fathers would relate so much to ducks raising their ducklings.
