Have you ever wondered if you have a twin out there in the world? Well, it turns out that your doppelgänger might not be exactly what you were hoping for, but at least they’re famous. For one thing, they’re so popular they love to hang out at museums a lot, but they don’t have a whole lot of options since they’re actually paintings or photographs hanging on a wall. Either way, these flesh and blood folks were stunned to find that they were the exact doubles of someone from long ago. Either that, or these people are immortal and don’t mind revealing their shocking secret with these spectacular side by side photos. You have to admit; the resemblance is uncanny. Also, they seem to have a similar taste for casual clothing. But we’d probably need to see him in those red tights to make sure he is the guy from the painting.

So, here’s this guy standing side by side with a photograph of a Samurai from 111 years ago in full body armor. But after a century, it seems like he’s forgotten that he’s a samurai aficionado!

Maybe she’s a witch like Samantha on Bewitched! Did she twitch her nose to go back in time and have a portrait painted of herself, and then zapped back to the present?

The only thing missing here is that dog next to her, or is that a fox? Either way, these parents are going to have a heck of a time trying to keep her from asking for a dog when she starts talking.

This must have been a scary experience when she started perusing around the museum and then saw herself in an old painting. Hey, at least she’s famous or at least pretty popular on social media now.

If we were this guy we’d be asking for a free pass to the museum, and if they asked why, we’d probably be like, “Hey, don’t you recognize me? I hang out here a lot!”

Well, he wears on a blue shirt. Maybe he has a blue police box, which is actually a camouflaged time traveling machine called a Tardis. Either that, or this is one cosmic joke!

He seems to be alive and well, but can he still bend his arm that we he did in that painting with all that armor on him? This one’s really freaky!

This young man went to a science museum in Trento, Italy, and met his prehistoric doppelganger. Sadly, only one of them had a pulse, and we sure hope he’s gotten over his taste of beaver.

He found this painting of his doppelgänger, Inigo Melchor De Velasco, the 7th Duke of Frias at the Louvre. It’s nice to see that both his face and his hair have withstood the test of time.

Imagine going to a museum and finding that you may have possibly been a man of the cloth a few centuries earlier. It doesn’t look like much has changed for this guy, except for his headphones.

This guy was just about to take a photo of the Mona Lisa when he noticed that there was something way more interesting, like his doppelgänger hanging on the wall in a museum in Paris.

The same long shaggy hair, beard and triangular face is uncanny. The only difference seems to be in the brows, which are more arched in the painting. But if he just had a dog with him, no one would notice the subtle difference.

It took a visit to the Louvre to discover that Weird Al may not only be weird, but also immortal. Long live, Weird Al and his equally exotic hairstyle.

Even as we look at this image, we can’t get Patrick Swayze singing “I’m Henry The 8th I am,” out of our heads. Maybe what we’re seeing isn’t a doppelgänger, but a ghost.

We’re guessing this is okay, as long as she doesn’t meet another immortal in the museum and starts drawing a sword, shouting, “there can be only one!”

There are some people who claim they’ve seen their twin walking across the street, but this guy has actually proof that he’s the exact double of some dude from the past. At least, if anyone asks, he can say that he’s so handsome that his face was framed for posterity.

In the flesh, literally or so it seems. There’ a spooky wow factor in the resemblance between these two. But was the modern guy a French ecclesiastic, preacher, journalist, theologian and political activist?

When you’ve had a couple of centuries to work on your Jane Fonda, your legs are bound to look so much better, and we’d say that those work boots look a lot better with those red shorts than the slippers from the painting.

This painting of a Byzantine knight could be a supermodel in modern day, but unfortunately, he’ll have to let his doppelgänger take over that role with those amazing blue eyes! Very handsome!
