Being an only child is great because you’re the only one your parents have to focus on. You get spoiled with (mostly) everything that you want and you don’t have to share. Well, the reality is, you’re at a disadvantage if you don’t have siblings. Sure, they can be pretty annoying at first, but at the end of the day they’ll always have your back. There’s no greater bond than one that you create with someone that you grow up with under the same roof by the same parents. Growing up with a sibling is like growing up with an automatic best friend. They really are the best and here’s a few reasons why. It’s like they can read your mind.
Because you know them equally as well.
Whether they’re a good or bad one… that depends on them.
It’s just not the same.
It’s like having your own personal body guard.
Unfortunately, that works both ways.
The same family from start to finish.
And teach you the importance of sharing. xx
It doesn’t matter in this household. xx
No matter how old you are.
Because you’ll always be there to keep each other warm.
No matter how badly you want to find out what happens at the end of Breaking Bad.
To prepare you for real world fights.
In the most problematic situations.
Because we all know those ones are the worst ones.
Even on days you feel like giving up.
And those “somethings” are almost always super fun.
It really helps people become more driven.
And ultimately teaches you to be independent.
Who’s down to do everything you’re down to do.
Like witnessing your older brother receive a more “mature” gift.
And will either be equally or more emotional than you.
No matter how many years pass by.
