Some people in life are more blessed than others financially. A lot of those people, when they are treated well, have no problem sharing their wealth. That’s important for those that work in the food industry. Waiters and waitresses work for small base salaries and rely heavily on tips to survive. This is hard for them to do with a smile sometimes depending on what type of customers they are waiting on. Over the course of the day, across the country, they will find all kinds of notes written on the receipts they give to their customers. Some of them are good and some, of course, are not so good. Most are good though as you’ll see in a few moments.A regular visitor at Tacolicious in San Francisco left a tip of $2,000. He left the popular saying on the receipt of “Tips for Jesus.” One staff member said, “He comes in here all the time and he’s amazing. Amazing to the staff.”

Mijai Wallace works at Bad Daddy’s at an airport. What seemed like a regular transaction turned out to filled with happiness. He said, “I brought her her check she gave her credit card. It was actually 60 bucks in there instead of $20 and I turned around to say thank you and she was gone.” There was a note attached that read: “My dog has been in critical condition for a week, when I landed in Charlotte, I got the news that the life-saving surgery she had this morning was successful. She will be ok! She will come home this weekend! I want to share my happiness with someone else. Have a drink on me and toast her good health. Her name is Scout.”

In Rock Hill, Missouri, a family was finishing up their dinner at Bandana’s Bar-B-Q restaurant. Suddenly one of the children, diagnosed with autism, began to act out, loudly screaming and crying. When they asked for the check after calming him down this is what they received. Their bill was picked up by someone sitting nearby.

He said that Trump asked him “What’s the biggest tip you ever got?” Billy told him that “Jerry Bruckheimer comes in a lot. One time a waitress at an Olive Garden found this note written to her on the receipt. She must have given them VERY good service to get an offer like that! They say money isn’t everything right? There is no word on if she actually called them.

Adam Dart once didn’t leave a tip for his waitress at Jess’ Lunch Downtown in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The note left said that “We only tip citizens.” The funny thing is that the waitress, Sadie Karina, was born in the United States.

An Aboriginal man from Perth, Western Australia, named Jarred Wall, once sat next to a couple of older ladies who were sharing their opinions with each other at a volume. They either didn’t realize they were louder than they thought, or they just didn’t care. Instead of confronting them, he killed them with kindness by buying them a pot of tea. His note got his message across.

A customer at a California restaurant claimed to see a rat while eating their meal. They were given a discount that was documented on their receipt. If this person really can’t do math and made the attempt you really can’t find fault with this. They knew they were at least leaving something. If it was done purposely by someone being smart it would be rude.
