When he was just 16 years old, Friedrich Trump purchased a one-way ticket for America. He boarded the steamship Eider and arrived in New York City on October 18, 1885. Friedrich was sick and not suited for hard labor, and feared the draft. He escaped the requirement of serving in the German military service. Germans were considered desirable migrants, so Friedrich was eagerly welcomed.
He arrived in New York and there he worked as a barber for six years. Later, Friedrich would earn a small fortune from operating a restaurant, bar, and boarding rooms during the Klondike Gold Rush. Friedrich married a German woman from his hometown, and tried to return, but couldn’t because of his dodge drafting. Friedrich lost his Bavarian citizenship and had to live in America. The couple ended up having three children. Donald Trump’s father, Frederick Christ Trump, was the second born.
Donald was only 6 when Peale’s book was first released, but his parents had an affinity for Peale’s inspiring work.
On Sundays, the Trump family drove into Manhatten to attend Marble Collegiate Church where Peale gave sermons as the head pastor. Peale even officiated at Ivana and Trump’s lavish wedding in 1977.

“He would tell me, ‘Don’t drink ever,'” Trump told Newsweek.“He was a great guy, a handsome person. He was the life of the party, he was a fantastic guy, but he got stuck on alcohol.” Fred Trump, Jr died at the of 43 due to complications related to alcohol in 1981.
USA Today reported having found 3,500 federal and state lawsuits against Trump ranging from fights with casino patrons to real estate dealings to personal defamation suits.
Trump Vodka was released in 2005 and was expected to be big competition for Grey Goose and take over the premium vodka market, but obviously, it did not.
Trump Vodka’s production ceased in 2011, however, you can still find some sealed bottles of golden Trump Vodka for $1,000 on eBay.
But Trump wasn’t the only one to win a Razzie for the 1989 crime story comedy film, Bo Derek was also won a Razzie for Worst Actress.

One of the best golf courses in Scotland is Trump Turnberry in South Ayrshire, South West Scotland, which Trump purchased in 2014.
He announced that he would put $260 million into transforming the property.
Trump is also friends with WWE’s Vince McMahon. The Donald hosted two WrestleMania events at the Trump Plaza.
Trump also made many appearances in the wrestling shows. For his wrestling contributions, Trump was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
Trump bought the the281-foot yacht for $29 million in 1987. After spending $10 million on renovations, Trump welcomed members of the New York press aboard the Trump Princess in 1988.
The massive boat had just about everything you could imagine, including a pool, disco, movie theater, 2 dining rooms, 3 elevators, 11 staterooms, and a total of 210 telephones. But after just a couple of years of owning Trump Princess, Trump sold it because of the real estate recession for $20 million to Saudi Prince al-Waleed bin Talal.
He said the 14.25 percent levy could raise $5.7 trillion and eliminate the national debt.
Trump proposed that this would save $200 billion a year in interest. Half of the saving would be earmarked for middle-class tax cuts and the other half would be used for Social Security.
On his show “Real Time with Bill Maher,” Maher made some tasteless jokes about Trump’s mother having sex with an orangutan. Maher shockingly said: “To determine whether he is, in fact, the love child of a human woman and an orangutan from the Brooklyn zoo. Look, I’m not saying your mother was repeatedly ****ing an orangutan back in the 1940’s, I don’t know if that’s true I hope it’s not true. But given your face, your physique and your intelligence level and of course your hair, the American people deserve some real proof that your mother did not spend most nights in 1945 covering her body in banana oil sneaking into the monkey cage and compulsively humping an orange orangutan.” The satire was not found humorous at all by Trump.
Maher continued to tear into Trump publicly promising on NBC’s “The Tonight Show” that he would donate $5 million to Trump’s charity if Trump could prove he was not orangutan offspring. Trump immediately sent Maher his a copy of his New York birth certificate, but Maher did not fulfill his promise, so Trump took him to court. He later dropped the suit against Maher. The “joke” was Maher’s way of getting back at Trump for asking President Barak Obama to share his birth certificate publicly, even offering to give $5 million to Obama’s choice charity. But the White House never responded to Trump’s challenge.
Recently divorced, Donald and Ivana, appeared in Pizza Hut commercials promoting stuffed crust pizza in 1995. When stuffed crust was first debuted by Pizza Hut, it looked like it could flop, but then Trump got involved and agreed to appear in commercials with his ex, Ivana.
Pizza Hut earned $300 million in stuffed crust pizza sales their first year. Executives at Pizza Hut claim it was because customers began following the wealthy couple’s example.
According to the American Bankruptcy Institute, Trump has never filed for personal bankruptcy. But he filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy four times for his business properties: Trump Taj Mahal in 1991, Trump Plaza Hotel in 1992, Trump Hotels and Casinos in 2004, and Trump Entertainment Resorts in 2009.

According to Wikipedia, he registered in Manhatten as a Republican in 1987. Trump has changed his party affiliation a total of five times.
He switched to Democrat in 2001. In 2009, he registered as a Republican, but in 2011, he listed himself as “no party affiliation.” Then in 2012, Trump came back to the Republican party again.
Trump had published his book “The Art of the Deal” the year before. Oprah asked him about his presidential aspirations saying that his newspaper ads in which he attacked U.S. foreign policy sounded a lot like “presidential talk.” Trump told her, “Probably not, but I do get tired of seeing the country get ripped off.” He continued with the same issues of the presidential election of 2016.
When Oprah asked if he thought he’d win a presidential election, Trump replied, “Well, I don’t know, I think I’d win. I’ll tell you what: I wouldn’t go in to lose. I’ve never gone in to lose in my life.”.

The Boston Globe reported that the Sullivan family approached Trump about buying the Patriots.
A close friend of Trump’s told the Boston Globe “that between the team and the stadium there was $104 million in debt, and that was too much for him to handle.”.
Trump graduated Wharton in 1968 with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics.
