When you’re young, you might think that you still have a lot of time to think about what your future will be like. However, time flies, and you’d better stop worrying about what may or may not come and start enjoying life before you hit 30 and it’s all over, cause that’s when life gets tricky. So for all you guys out there, remember, you can only grow by enjoying the true pleasures of life. Otherwise, you’ll be bored, frustrated, and stuck with huge responsibilities like a wife, kids, and a mortgage, and wondering what happened to your life. So here are some things all men should experience at least once in their lives.Not only do you learn how to be self-sufficient, clean your home, do your own laundry, and cook, but you also get to have some privacy. So if you want to watch a dirty movie, you don’t have to worry about your mom walking into your room.

The last thing any of us wants is to have the same body as our dad, unless of course, your dad is Mr. Hard Body or something. So get in shape so your outer self can look as awesome as your inner self.

You might not be James Bond or filthy rich, but you can certainly feel like a million bucks in a tux, and who says the illusion isn’t just as powerful as the real thing?

Only an old-fashioned person would still believe that the kitchen is only for women. As it turns out, some of the best cooks in the world are men. But even if being a sous chef isn’t your passion, you can’t be spending money on take out or Cup-a-Soups every day.

You might as well buy a cowboy hat while you’re at it and shout Yee-Haw! There’s something almost spiritual about connecting with another animal and it’s less stressful to get around than driving a car on the freeway.

We all have our own vices. For some it’s drinking too much coffee, for others it’s smoking cigarettes, drinking too much, or smoking pots. These compulsions are bound to annoy the people in your life, so consider giving at least one of these up before you totally alienate yourself.

Even if you’re not a hardcore fan of sports, go see one. It’s not about the game itself, but rather the experience of collectively joining others in cheering for a team while drinking really cheap beer and bad food.

Then open it again in 20 years and read it. You’ll be surprised by just how different the perspectives between your current self and your younger self really is.

You don’t have to own one. You can always ask a buddy to let you borrow his, but remember, it’s like riding a bike. You have to master that rumbling beast between your legs. Once you do, you can fulfill that biker dream, at least for a little while and feel the wind beneath your hair.

Swimming in the ocean is one thing, but learning to tackle a massive wave with a surf board is a thrilling experience. Plus, you’ll learn the ultimate art of balancing, which you’ll need in every aspect of your life.

Staying stuck in the same town your whole life is no way to live. Don’t assume that the city you live in has been cloned across the nation. Plus, you might find some amazing stores to shop and landscapes to explore. So don’t miss out an adventure.

There are some amazing things under the water that are both subtle and gross, not to mention a few terrors that will likely freeze your soul, like a shark. But oh well, life’s a risk, so learn to scuba dive and then dive right on in, cause the water’s fine!

Make sure you pick a place that’s totally different, especially if they wear different styles of clothing or shoes and buy some so you can mingle with the crowd.

It doesn’t have to be your birthday, Christmas, or New Year’s Eve. Just throw a huge party and invite your family and friends over and show them you can have a great time too.

Obviously, you don’t need one because Smartphones have pretty much taken over conventional time pieces, but it could serve as a legacy that you can pass on to your children or nephew when they turn 18 or 21.

Sure, you could buy one of those cheesy plastic shavers, but why not pamper yourself and allow a straight razor to caress your face. It feels great and you’ll look great cause nothing exfoliates better than a straight razor.

Love might be a universal language, but the person you’re trying to pick up won’t know jack unless you speak to them in their own language. So go ahead and learn. Your knowledge will grow and so will your dating skills.

So learn about everything like the names of birds, trees, flowers, insects, constellations, and topographical features of other countries. You won’t regret it.

Sure, you can make a big deal about having helped someone out, but it’s so much better when you do something good without expecting any recognition because that says a lot about you as a human being.

Friends are fundamental when it comes to having fun, but over time, responsibilities make it impossible to give them the same attention that you used to when you were younger. So for now, build some great memories by going on a road trip or vacationing abroad together.

Start out by learning three to four chords on a guitar. You don’t have to be so great that you could be a contestant on America’s Got Talent. You just need to be able to play one song.

Not everything we learn in life comes from personal experiences. Sometimes, the best way to learn is by listening to what someone else has gone through, and believe us, war veterans have been through hell and back, so listen to their stories.

It could be a forest, the back country or a back porch. It really doesn’t matter, just as long as you can see the stars and listen to nature’s beautiful music.

It doesn’t matter if you win or lose. It’s about standing on the rail, breathing deep, making a fist and waving it in the air in anticipation as whatever you bet on races closer to the finish line, or not.

Dogs are the ultimate companion. It’s why they’re called man’s best friend. They’ll guard you, love you, and will make you feel like the most important person in the world. Plus, they tend to make you more attractive when you’re out walking your dog.

These aren’t mundane things. These are places where major events happen. We’re talking historic! So why not be a part of it and attend a game or two, even if you’re not that into sports?

Go ahead! Find the one that’s closest to you and play a game or two. You might find it so relaxing that it could become part of your regular Sunday routine.
