We all have different ways of understanding why certain things are the way they are. For example, how would you respond to the question, "Why is it iso hot?"
Some people might say, "Well, because it's summer." Others might go a little deeper and say, "It's because the earth's axis is titled. Even though the sun is furthest away from Earth in July, its rays are hitting us at a steep angle and the light doesn't spread out as much."
These are perfectly acceptable answers. If you'd really like to learn more, there are books you can purchase or classes you can take.
But whatever you do, don't ask Brad Holmes's fiancée Jen Davies. Like many others in the UK, the two were suffering from the 30 degree heatwave. However, Jenny seems to think that it hasn't been that hot. Her partner argues that it has indeed been very hot.
"Yeah, obviously because I'm sweating, but it's not hot on the degrees circle," she told him.
She then goes on to use an ashtray to explain what she means by the degrees circle, and it's hilarious. If you haven't seen these viral pranksters before, this is a good video to start with.
