On November 24, 1945, Cao Yuehua and Wang Deyi were married at Northern Hot Springs Park in Chongqing, a major city in Southwest China. Nearly 70 years later, the couple celebrated their love with a wedding recreation ceremony. It was a romantic affair, as lovely as the original, with an elegant gown, sharp tuxedo, and similar accents such as a leafy bouquet, only this time, their four children were there as witnesses. Americans are notorious for their high divorce rate, but Chinese couples have exhibited an increase in divorces, too, for more than 12 consecutive years.
