During the past twelve months, Bollywood has churned out its usual 800-1000 movies. Some have been huge hits, some minor hits, some were just okay and you always have those flicks that are just flat out bad. That’s going to happen when you put out that many every year. There is no doubt that 2016 has been a historical year for the Indian film industry and 2017 will more than likely repeat that feat. With 800 or more movies scheduled to be released in 2017, you know that only a fraction of those are going to be big hits at the box office. So today we will take a look at some of the more highly anticipated releases coming out in the next twelve months. Some of them are scheduled for late in the year, however, so don’t get too excited quite yet because you may have to wait until November to see the one you think is the best. January has a few releases that are scheduled to come out and they are predicted to do quite well. This film is highly anticipated and it’s been highly promoted. It’s an action thriller and stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mahira Khan.
This romantic comedy stars Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan.
This comedy has a lot of people looking forward to its release. It stars Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor and Adah Sharma.
This movie is based on Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz’s novel “Karachi, You’re killing me”. The drama stars Sonakshi Sinha, and Kanan Gill (Yaas), Shibani Dandekar and Purab Kohli also have parts in the flick.
This movie is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel “Half Girlfriend”. It stars Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.
