For those of us who go to Starbucks every day, it’s not uncommon to have a favorite barista, one that knows your name, your drink of choice, and maybe even a bit about your life. But sometimes, it’s more than that, like the Starbucks barista in this story: She knew one of her regular customers was deaf, so she decided to go above and beyond for him. The customer hits up the same Starbucks three times a week, and has become friendly with his barista, despite the fact that he is deaf. One day, she handed him this note.
