A pit bull was found roaming the streets in Savannah, Georgia. She carried her buddy, a wounded chihuahua, in her mouth. Animal control officers took the chihuahua, later named Chachi, to a vet to treat his eye infection. They weren’t able to save his eye, but they patched it up and a few days later Jonie the pit bull was able to visit Chachi. Officers said it was an emotional reunion with lots of licking, whining, and cuddling. The two dogs had such a strong bond, the shelter named the canines after the Happy Days couple.
