The famous Greek philosopher Aristotle rightly said that, “Man is by nature a social animal.” Man cannot live alone and has to be a part of a society. Most of us have friends and families that we spend most of our time with throughout the day. There are people who we love and there are those who love us, but no one can love us more than our parents. After a certain age, they let us live our lives the way we want. They are always there for us even if they don’t agree with some of our life choices.

But what about the ones who played the biggest role in grooming us to be the persons we are? Yes, you guessed it right. They are none other than our grandparents.

Even when our parents were strict with discipline, they would secretly pamper and spoil us.

Most people of her age live out their last years in retirement homes surrounded by their peers, but Mary lives alone. She visits a senior center on weekdays and that is the only highlight of her day. Every day a bus stops in front of her house to take her to the local senior center where she spends a few hours with her peers and people who run the center. While she at the senior center, she forgets her lonely and depressing life. She can visit there only on weekdays as no one is there on the weekends.

She hopes that their last years are filled with joy.
