This series of ariel photographs were captured by pilot and photographer, Alex MacLean. He has spent much of his time flying and photographing landscape. MacLean is trained as an architect and has depicted the history and evolution of land from agricultural patterns to city grids by recording the changes that occur naturally and by human intervention.
