Trophy Hunters Are Terribly Wicked… And These Lovable Babies Just Prove It. May 12, 2017

There is something that happens to most women the moment they become mothers, an instinctual, almost primitive need to love and protect the little life in our arms at any cost. Perhaps we take our cues from animals in the wild that live and breath their offspring. It seems no matter what animal we talk about, from big cats to meerkats, hippos to hogs, the basic necessity of looking after their young ones is built right inside their DNA. The team of [Passage to Africa][1] have compiled rare and beautiful images of mothers and their babies within their natural element. The photos are from Kenya, Tanzania, Namibia and Botswana. In each photo, the one common thread is the devotion and love these animals have for their offspring. Some animals stand tall as if to tell the world they are not to be messed with while others provide a gentle embrace as if to cuddle with their babies. [1]: http://www.passagetoafrica.com/
