Several people were left injured in the terrorist attack that occurred at the Manchester Arena in what should have been a fun night after seeing Ariana Grande performed. But a suicide bomber changed all that, and some people lost their lives, while others fled for cover. Ariana Grande took off for the safety of her hometown in the Sunshine State, better known as Florida. But this caused some like Piers Morgan to question the singer’s courage in the face of danger. In fact, he was downright mean, until she did something that gave him an epiphany.Just ask Piers Morgan, who had claimed that Ariana Grande fled the country in the wake of a terror attack that left many injured and some dead or missing.
He claimed that while Grande was safe in her Florida mansion, she had “seemingly left a 91-year-old pensioner to check on your wounded fans”.
She suffered two fractured legs and was injured by shrapnel and had to stay in the hospital. But a few weeks later, Ariana Grande returned to the UK to do another concert, and before she did, she paid Jaden a visit, which changed the little girl’s dad’s attitude about the singer as well.
The singer joked with fans and took what seemed like an endless amount of selfies, bringing joy to all those fans who had gone to see her last May and nearly lost their lives.
He also claims that he didn’t know the name of any of her songs and wouldn’t have recognized her if she came up to him and slapped him in the face for the initial comments he had made.
But Morgan claims that Grande spent two weeks trying to get other celebs like Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Chris Martin, Miley Cyrus and so many more to join her for the recent Sunday night concert, which sadly, coincided with yet another terrorist attack, but not at the concert.
Grande was absolutely fearless and inspiring at the event to commemorate those who were injured or killed in Manchester.
“Last night I felt a surging sense of pride watching the bigger, better show than the one two weeks ago,” said Morgan. Just look at that crowd and it felt like thousands, if not millions had joined together.
He claims that he had Grande down as “just another self-obsessed millionaire pop star prepared to put her own safety before that of her fans.” We’re not exactly sure what would have been so wrong of her thinking of her own safety, but you know, whatever.
Fans raised their hands up high and made heart shapes to express support for those who suffered at the hands of this horrible terrorist attack.
Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus even performed together to show their fans and also those who would spread fear and hate that love conquers all.
He’s just doing a little damage control because he still felt that it was wrong of her to flee the country so fast and would have been better if she’d hung around to see her suffering fans first, according to Morgan.
How could you not feel more empowered when you’re watching Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall from the Bad Little Mix perform on stage?
She could have cancelled the event and headed home again, and who would blame her? Well, maybe Morgan would have, but she “defiantly declared that the show would go on” and it did.
He did admit though that the concert itself was “a staggeringly moving and inspiring event.” He further added that Grande “may appear to be just a sweet, pint-sized, baby-faced young woman, but by coming back to Manchester so soon, shrugging off the latest attack in London, and performing with such raw emotion and power, you showed more guts than every pathetic ISIS coward.”
According to Miley Cyrus, the One Love Manchester might make a return appearance after discussing it with Ariana Grande.
More than £2.5 million was also raised for the “We Love Manchester Emergency Fund” and the total amount raised is over £10 million thanks to the appearance of famed musicians like The Black Eyed Peas.
What better way to remember those killed than by sharing something all of them loved collectively, their love for music, and particularly, Ariana Grande?
After so much negative publicity surrounding the young singer, making an appearance at the One Love Manchester concert might be enough to get people to change their minds about him.
No one was expecting Gallagher to show up and perform alongside big names like Chris Martin, but it was definitely a wonderful surprise for fans.
Pharrell Williams rocked it with the final sing-along of the “Manchester, we’re strong” chorus, and along with Miley Cyrus and others, they helped make the night the amazing event that it was.
Everyone seemed moved and express admiration for celebs like Katy Perry, but the biggest celeb in their eyes was Ariana Grande who brought all these famous people together.
The hit “Take That” song also helped put everyone in an uplifting, feel-good mood for the rest of the night.
Grande closed the concert by giving everyone a soulful performance of the song “Somewhere Over The Rainbow,” which left everyone that was there live and those watching from their television screens deeply moved.
In fact, audience members were pressed up against the barriers, and thanks to some thorough security checks, the show went on without a hitch, allowing everyone to pay tribute to those who have fallen, and to show ISIS that Manchester remains strong and fearless.
