You’ve probably heard of a ship in a bottle but have you ever seen art work within a test tube? Squeezing a piece of art into the confinements of a bottle can be pretty difficult but imagine putting art into something 20 times smaller than that bottle. It almost sounds impossible to achieve and quite frankly never really thought of. That’s what makes Dutch artist Rosa de Jong and the work that she does so special. She’s a freelance designer, art director, and animator based in Amsterdam. She specifically wants to make things that people want to look at, not something they’re forced to look at. And she’s done just that with these tiny floating world’s one can only fantasize about living in.
Can’t touch this! Other stuff to do today, had to put it aside.. A photo posted by Rosa de Jong (@byrosa) on Dec 7, 2015 at 4:55am PST

Work in progress – I would really like to connect everything and turn it on – off – on – off – on again but that’s going to take a while. ->**Believe it or not, each test tube takes less than a day to complete. De Jong has even admitted during an interview that she really just wings it. “Nothing is planned. I just look at it while working on it, put it in a tube, see how it looks, maybe change something.”**<-
