For Syrian refugees, leaving their homes and embarking on a huge journey to safety is an emotional and devastating experience. Despite all of it, this teenager has one thing to be grateful for along the way. 17-year-old Aslan Al Hakim walked from his home in Damascus, Syria, to find safety in Greece. The entire way, he carried with him a small bag, and special package: His puppy, Rose.
