Ever wanted to be able to see the world the way the birds do, looking down over the world in all of its resplendent glory? Well, at the **Centenary Tree Canopy Walkway** in South Africa, you can. The walkway is part of the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. It is constructed from curved steel and timber, and it cuts and winds above the trees, almost like a snake. Visitors start out walking through the forest floor, through the trees, and eventually through the canopy. The walkway gives visitors an amazing view of the surrounding mountains – and it’s also incredibly slender, so its presence doesn’t take away from the views of the landscape. Want to see the view?
