The walkway is part of the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. It is constructed from curved steel and timber, and it cuts and winds above the trees, almost like a snake. Visitors start out walking through the forest floor, through the trees, and eventually through the canopy.
