You most likely know what autism is, but how much do you really understand about how autism affects the person who has it? There are a vast multitude of misconceptions about autism, and this video, produced by the National Autistic Society, aims to clear up a few of them. In the video, we see a boy being led through a shopping mall by his mother. It’s not a peculiar scene in and of itself, but the video is filmed from the perspective of the boy: What he sees, how he hears things, and how he reacts. It’s an interesting look into how autistic people perceive the world around them –and it will definitely inspire you to educate yourself more about those that have it.
