Autism is a complex disorder. A child with autism can have difficulties in social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication and repetitive behaviors. Ben Carter is an extremely autistic 14-year-old boy from Devon, United Kingdom. Ben has drank from the same Tommee Tippee Sippy Cup ever since he was two years old. His cup, however, has recently began falling apart. This wouldn’t be an issue if it weren’t for the fact that the company had stopped manufacturing this particular product many years ago. But this was only a bump in the road for Ben’s father, Marc. Marc started an online campaign that got Tommee Tippee to agree to make not just one or two cups for his son, but 500 of the discontinued little cups!
