Members of law enforcement have to be ready for anything and have seen it all. Given their extensive training and nerves of steel, they don’t often encounter situations where they don’t have complete control. Police officers in Boulder County, Colorado, met their match in a baby owl that stood before them and confidently held his ground.

The ball of feathers stopped a cruiser in his tracks and deputies were unsure how to deal with the situation. After some staring and head-twisting, the Northern Saw Whet owl let the cops continue on their way.
