Do you remember having a make-believe friend as a child? That imaginary buddy that heard our babbling about our day or played with us for hours on end. As we grew up, our friend slowly disappeared. Or it could it just be it was hiding behind us this whole time. Artist AnaHell has brought to life mystical creatures in her photo series *Secret Friends*. The 31-year-old gets her models to bend their backs forward in order to draw quirky and scary characters. This may not be the way we pictured our imaginary friend but at least it’s comforting to know someone has our back.
