When people at the beach hear the word “shark,” they can’t get out of the water quickly enough for fear they will become the large fish’s snack. Not so for beachgoers in Destin, Florida, when a hammerhead shark was seen swimming scarily close to the shoreline. Two brothers noticed the fish was injured and took it closer to shore, away from other swimmers. The hammerhead had hooks stuck in its mouth which both the brothers and other good samaritans worked together to remove. Watch this video for the incredible rescue.
