When people go to the ocean, they want to play and have fun. Mostly, folks want to relax and enjoy the scenery. Swimmers at Wellfleet Beach in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, worked as a team to rescue a beached great white shark. The 14-foot adult male ended up onshore; experts assume the shark became confused in the shallow water close to land. About 100 men and women formed a line to dig a trench to return the great white back to the water. They also kept pouring buckets of water to keep him alive.
