Every new parent takes great pride in naming their baby. Whether it’s carrying a name to honour a grandparent or someone important in their lives or simply give the newborn a name that has strong symbolism, the task is not taken lightly. Which begs the question why celebrities name their offsprings Apple, Blue Ivy, Moroccan, Monroe, Tennessee, Poppy Honey, North, Saint, and Sparrow James Midnight, to name a few. The more peculiar and unconventional the name is, the more the rich and famous love it. The latest to join in on the odd baby naming is One Direction’s band member Lim Payne. Although in terms of originality he is not the first celeb to use the name.The couple had their baby at the Portland Hospital located in central London on March 22, 2017.
Cole is 33 and Payne is 23.
Cole was married to soccer player Ashley Cole while a judge.
By October 2016, she was granted a nisi decree from her ex. She had been dating Payne since early 2016.
It’s replaced by one of him and his new love.
Payne and Cole arrived hand-in-hand at the 69th annual Cannes Film Festival in France.
The UK’s new, “It” couple were in attendance at St. James Christmas Carol Concert in London.
It was reported they wanted to get to know him better before deciding on a name.
“I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true,” he shared on Mother’s Day on March 26, 2017 in the UK.
In the UK, gossip magazine and online sites could not help themselves but speculate the name of the baby boy born in this musical family.
Bear Payne is not the first celebrity baby to have that name.
British chef James Oliver’s son name is Buddy Bear.
Payne and Cole have yet to reveal what made them choose the name of a wildlife animal.
Cole revealed in a 2012 interview that if she ever had a son she would name him Alfie.
“I like the name Taylor. Taylor’s pretty neutral for a boy or a girl,” he admitted. “That’s what I’m going to call my first child if I had children.”
One does wonder though, it took the couple about five weeks to decide on a name. Will it be this hard for everything else like school? Vacations? Birthday parties?
He was cut early on so he returned two years later in 2010.
“You’ve definitely got it. Whatever it is, you’ve got it. And your voice is really powerful,” she told the future father of her child in 2010.
This would have been when the judge and singer reunited.
Although those close to the judge and singer say Cole and her ex hand been separated for months.
Still, the tabloids make the insinuation that Cole cheated on her ex-husband to which she took to Twitter on April 16, 2016 to address “If anybody believes the s**t they’re reading today you really don’t know me at all.”
He didn’t caption it with anything else.

Besides becoming a dad, he has also signed a record deal with Republic for his future solo career.
For some, Payne can do no wrong and the name is just perfect. While others wonder why celebrities can’t just give their kids, “normal” names.
