Bei Bei has made his media debut at Washington’s National Zoo. The four-month-old panda has been living a private life since his birth on August 22. Bei Bei is still learning how to walk so he had to be carried by his keeper Juan Rodriguez. The panda was named by first lady Michelle Obama and China’s first lady Peng Liyuan. Bei Bei means “precious treasure.” Visitors wanting to see the adorable cub will have to wait until January 16, 2016 when he is allowed to be in the enclosure with his parents and sister.
