It’s not everyday a couple gets engaged in the frozen food section. Guys have taken proposals from a sweet and romantic moment to one that turns epic and hard to forget. Whether it’s [rock climbing], [skydiving], and even a [Cinderella] wedding proposal, there is an endless list of ways to ask for your girlfriend’s hand in marriage. One way to narrow down the way you can propose is to involve a hobby or something you are both passionate about. From then on, it usually requires the help of friends and family. For one future groom it was getting his favorite gelato company involved. Luke Munsterteiger and Else Schmit from Pueblo, Colorado, have a mutual love for Talenti Gelato. They love it so much they have made it their goal to try every flavor. So it only seems natural to want to include this decadent dessert in the important day. : http://www.lifebuzz.com/rock-proposal/ : http://www.lifebuzz.com/marriage-proposal/ : http://www.lifebuzz.com/cinderella/The company happily played cupid and sent Munsterteiger a personalized pint.
Munsterteiger took Schmit to the local grocery store where he sneaked in his own pint in the gelato section. His bride-to-be almost picked up a different flavour until he steered her to choose the right one.
“Luke had taken a step back so when I turned around he was already on one knee. I was super cheesed, of course,” Schmit admits. Her sister was hiding in one of the aisles ready to take photos of the special moment.
This one may be their favourite one by far.
“We might use the rest of them as decorations for the wedding,” says Schmit.
