An architectural design team, DesignDevelop, came up with an idea to transform triangular billboards into small apartments for the homeless. The plan is to have living spaces constructed inside roadside billboards. Two-room apartments would each feature a kitchen, an office area, a bed, storage space, and a bathroom. The tiny dwellings would only need minimal maintenance costs which would be partially paid through the rental of its advertising space.
