After Prince’s passing last week, it seemed only natural that the entire weekend be dedicated to listening to, dancing to, and singing to his music. As it turns out, it wasn’t just us common folk that were fans: Plenty of other music legends found inspiration in Prince’s life and work, and Bruce Springsteen happens to be one of them. To honor his fellow rock god, Springsteen played a show this weekend in which he covered “Purple Rain” in his signature Springsteen growl.
