Film director Tim Burton is famous for making dark, gothic movies with quirky characters. The California native’s creations and Disney’s colorful, adorable and cute cartoons do not collide with each other. That is until Russian artist Andrew Tarusov blended their universe together. Tarusov used some of the most famous Disney cartoon characters like 101 Dalmatians, Snow White, and Pinocchio and gave them the Burton makeover. The wide-eyed eerie characters are no longer smiling or frolicking around. “Being a huge fan of Disney classics, I imagined how our favorite childhood movies could look if they were directed by the great Tim Burton,” says the animator.
