Here’s a story that will make your heart smile. Charlie George walked his dogs around the neighborhood every day to get some exercise. He was diagnosed with leukemia three years ago and he started to struggle to make it around the block. A neighbor noticed and decided to do something for him. She set out a chair for him with a sign reading, “Chairs for Charlie… or for others in need of a rest.” And she emailed the other neighbors to do the same and soon 20-30 chairs were set out for Charlie.
Charlie later joked, “*Twenty chairs is a lot of sitting. My whole purpose is walking.*”:)
