We are taught lessons in life everyday, we just have to be open to receive them. Sarah Owen Bigler was in the same predicament we find ourselves in; trying to buy things needed at home with tired kids and being in a rush. The woman stopped by her local Target store and found herself waiting in line behind an elderly lady who was paying for her items separately, one-by-one. It could have been easy for this mom to complain to the cashier and the customer, her time is valuable and she has somewhere to be. Instead, she found herself watching the exchange between the young man and the woman, all the while her daughter looked on. Bigler probably did not leave the shop in the timeframe she was hoping for, but she came out smiling after being taught a lesson in patience and kindness.
