CHALLENGE: Can You Beat This Masterful Dad At This Bizarre Game?

CHALLENGE: Can You Beat This Masterful Dad At This Bizarre Game? June 19, 2018

When a baby is sleeping most moms know to just enjoy the moment and cuddle with their little ones. If you’re lucky you can even join in and take a nap with them. Dads on the other hand don’t know what to do with themselves when they have to hold a sleeping baby. Patrick Quinn came up with a new game to entertain himself while his three-week-old son Maxton slept on his lap. Quinn saw a box of Cheerios close to the couch and he came up with the perfect way to use them. The Orange County father began stacking the cheerios on his newborn’s nose. He was able to get five high before they toppled over. Once he uploaded the photo on social media, the hashtag #CheerioChallenge was born with dads from all over the world trying to outdo each other.

->**According to Quinn, the hardest part of stacking the cereal was controlling the giggles. “I’d take a picture but then I’d start laughing and it’d topple over. So I’d start again, take a picture and it’d topple over. The highest I got to is five,” says Quinn.**<-

What better way to show how proud I am to be your Dad than by showing all the fun we have (even if your sleeping hogging the bed) with the #cheeriochallenge I remember it was the Sunday before Thanksgiving when i found out I was going to be a Daddy, I was so excited and couldn’t wait to tell the world. Your mother and I promised to tell only 2 people our amazing news and by the end of the day we laughed cause that number was passed by morning. I couldn’t wait to meet you from that day on making it so hard to be patient, we’d always talk about what you’d look like, the person you would be, and all the plans and dreams we were excited to share with you. It was the day of my birthday we got the news of us being blessed with a little girl. We gave eachother an awkward hug and soft congratulations as we were 100 percent you were a boy. But I was so much more excited cause I knew you’d be your Daddys Girl, and you are for sure. It’s amazing and crazy to watch and look back on how much you’ve grown, from reading books and long talks to you in your mom’s tummy, to watching you walk around on your own now with so much to talk about. It’s been an awesome adventure by your side and I’m so excited to watch you grow. Your already such a loving, free, adventurous, caring spirit and continue to amaze me everyday. Its such an honor to be called your Father as we go thru this epic journey of life and can’t wait to see what’s ahead of us. I love you Etta Vee, thanks for choosing me and making me the luckiest Dad in the world. We will havta beat our record of 26 cheerios as the landing strip on your head continues to grow. #mytinyteacup #cheeriochallenge #fathersday A photo posted by peanutt36 (@peanutt36) on Jun 19, 2016 at 5:13am PDT
