Many children grow up living in poverty and lacking the basic necessities of life, while others who are more fortunate, grow up where those things are guaranteed and are usually taken for granted. Author and photographer [James Mollison](http://jamesmollison.com/) created *Where Children Sleep*, a collection of stories about children from around the world told through their portraits and photographs of their bedrooms. He said he came up with the idea when he found himself thinking of his own bedroom and its significance during his childhood.
