Back in June 2008, seven chimpanzees arrived from a private biomedical facility in Pennsylvania. They had all been used by the biomedical research industry to test hepatitis vaccines. Some of the chimpanzees were kept as pets and used in the entertainment industry when they were younger. Four of the seven had never been outdoors. This video shows them being released into the [Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest](http://www.chimpsanctuarynw.org/), a 26-acre farm 90 miles east of Seattle.
You can see more of them on [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/chimpsanctuary).
