The following performance is probably one of the most Christmas-y live shows we’ve ever seen, but surprisingly, when it was filmed it had absolutely nothing to do with Christmas. The performance was for the Nanjing 2014 Olympics in China, which took place in August of last year. All of the performers in the video are Chinese university students, who worked tirelessly to create a spectacle that was meant to be a celebration of music, national pride, and physical performance. Seeing that Christmas is just a few weeks away, and that these kids somehow make a large, lit-up human Christmas tree, we figured it was only appropriate to share it with you now.
