We think of churches as places of worship, but when they are no longer being used for religious purposes, they are simply beautiful buildings. That’s why it makes sense that architects and designers would want to get their hands on these properties and refurbish them – even if that means turning the church into a stunning home. Linc Thelen Design and Scrafano Architects recently completed this stunning church conversion in Chicago, and it is absolutely jaw-dropping. Perhaps not everyone would feel comfortable living in a church, but everyone can agree that this particular renovation would be a beautiful space to rest your head.
