They say love and attraction is a mixture of your personal interests and hormones. But the truth is that love is super strange and mysterious. No one can really figure it out. It’s magical. And when you find your perfect half, you’re drawn to them like a bee to a flower. In the end, all you can do is act on your instincts and go forward. Just ask Rodney and Jessica Reinsma from Queensland, Australia who learned that love can strike at any place and at any time, even at the supermarket they both worked in. Who knew a supermarket aisle could be so romantic?While most would consider dating a co-worker an HR nightmare waiting to happen, the Queensland couple had no doubts in their hearts, and besides, they were both managers, so they weren’t exactly dating subordinates.
Of course, they wanted to pay tribute to the special place they fell in love in, the supermarket. So, in lieu of a park or other venue, Rodney and Jessica took their wedding photos at Coles Supermarket instead. And the pictures were better than anyone could have expected.
It might not have been appropriate to do this while they were on the job, but given that they’re newlyweds, we’re sure they simply bended the rules a bit. What an awesome way to celebrate their union.
In some of the photos, you see Rodney pushing his blushing bride, Jessica, on a shopping cart, while the two prevent to pick food items. We never imagined that supermarkets could be romantic, but these two really changed our minds.
Her idea of a perfect picture involved hanging out at the fruit and vegetable section and holding broccoli in her hands. After the photo was taken, she tossed the broccoli, where a bridesmaid was lucky enough to grab it.
The couple feels like they owed it to the supermarket to do their wedding photo shoot here. “If it wasn´t for Coles, we may have never met and I could not imagine life without him,” claims Jessica, as she and her new hubby remain surrounded by produce.
We’re betting these two never imagined that they’d fall in love when they started out at Coles. But the heart wants what the heart wants. And as they dance the night away, we can only hope that they live happily ever after.
