Parents who have The Elf on the Shelf visit their home every December have a lot of work in their hands. Coming up with different locations, mischief, and props requires creativity or searching Pinterest for inspiration. Alan Lawrence came up with the most clever idea for his elfin. He used his four-month-old son Rockwell as his real-life elf. He has posted a series of cute and hilarious situations where Santa’s little helper is causing mischief and a little chaos for the father of six. Rockwell may just be the coolest Elf on the Shelf. Lawrence, has not said whether or not this will be a yearly tradition.
