Life under the sea is so vast and expansive that little is known of the creatures that call the ocean their home. Alexander Semenov, a marine biologist specializing in invertebrate animals, has taken on the daunting task of studying life deep underwater. He is currently leading a team of scientists on a 3-year-long [Aquatilis][1] expedition. A photographer with eight years of experience, Semenov has captured incredibly rare images that seem like something out of a dream. His aim, outside of learning about marine life, is to encourage young people to do the same. His spectacular work has led him to work with National Geographic, BBC, Smithsonian and Discovery channel to name a few.
