On the outside, the Dutch-designed “De Markies” looks like a normal trailer, perfect for long journeys wandering the open road. If you look closer, though, you notice that the sides of the trailer have no windows, making the entire system feel a little bit cramped. It’s only when you arrive at your final destination of the day that you see what the De Markies can really do. It’s a feat of good design and ingenuity that could change the lives of campers everywhere, and all it too was a few clever awnings and the idea that camping doesn’t have to be cramped.
