Tal Spiegel just made our food selfies boring. The graphic designer and pastry chef lives in Paris, France. He loves to photograph the scrumptious desserts against the background of his huge shoe collection. His footwear is sometimes as colorful as the French pastries he is about to eat. Other times, they are subtle and simple: such as the black shoes he wore for his chocolate-almond eclair decorated with the eyes of the Mona Lisa. “There is a natural connection between the colorfulness of desserts and shoes, and this is a project I just can’t stop creating!” His shoes are as diverse as the tarts, biscuits, cakes, and donuts he enjoys. Spiegel has over 8,600 hungry followers on Instagram. His account is appropriately named [Desserted in Paris][1]. It’s hard to tell what is making us more envious: the desserts or the shoes.
