You’re missing our special family time!” You sigh and shove your phone in your pocket, just as your mom is muttering “These kids, they always have their faces in their phones and their lives just pass them by” to a nearby aunt. In that moment, you felt like she was being unreasonable. **This photo is what she’s worried about.** A photographer caught this image of a man on his phone, unaware of the glorious sight unfolding before him: Humpback whales breaching in Redondo Beach. Apparently, the entire time the whales were breaking, the man never took his eyes off his phone. This image is a reminder to put your phone down and start looking at the world instead.
