Poor Nilo. The donkey successfully escaped his home at a petting zoo in Pratteln, Switzerland. However, soon after he tasted sweet freedom, he fell into a manhole. It was like something you’d expect to see in a comedy. Firefighters were called and Nilo was rescued. Luckily for this adventurous donkey, he only had minor, superficial injuries. Dubbed ‘Shrek’ by his rescuers for his resemblance to the donkey from the movie, Nilo was promptly returned back to the zoo. It’s safe to say, Nilo probably now thinks his home at the zoo isn’t so bad after all.
