Driftwood is awesome, and its definitely one of the more beautiful things that the ocean provides us with. The one thing that could make it more awesome? Turning it into art. Artist James Doran-Webb works exclusively with driftwood, and he also turns the pieces into something epic: Four-limbed dragons with the first pair of legs extending into the wing. They’re called wyverns, and they are stunning to behold. They’re also enormous: One of these wyverns required Doran-Webb to use a metal frame for support, *and* move into a larger studio. Check out this amazing work below – it’s hard to believe they started as piece of driftwood, isn’t it?
This Massive Dragon Looks Amazing, But When You Zoom In… Mind Blowing.
