Ballroom dancing just got a little more urban. This Russian formation team has set the bar high for ingenuity. The eight men and women performed to a mashup of hits like “Ice, Ice, Baby,” “Can’t Touch This,” and “La Isla Bonita,” among others. The musical mix was fun and upbeat but it was the dancers swift steps that had the crowd cheering. The group was competing at the WDSF World Championship in Bremen, Germany on December, 2014. The choreography required these elite dancers to perform in perfect unison, without bumping or touching the other pairs. This video will have you applauding for the Russian team. Their reactions after their score is announced, is equally infectious and lively as their routine.
