Residents in the tourist city of Varna, Bulgaria got worried when one cat turned up green. They were concerned someone was harming the cat as dying animals’ furs can be fatally dangerous. A watch group to find the culprit was set up. . Even a Facebook page called for the “Punishment to the perpetrator of this criminal act.” What the residents discovered is that the feline was actually sleeping in an abandoned garage in a bed of synthetic green paint. Attempts to catch the emerald colored fur ball have been futile to ensure there are no potential health risks. In the meantime, the new hue has not seem to deter the green cat from socializing with other kittens.
