Life has been anything but sweet for Roo, a 5-month-old dog who was born without one of her front legs. Soon after birth, she lost her other front leg because another dog chewed it off. Luckily for Roo, she was rescued by a British animal charity. [Safe Rescue for Dogs][1] found the dog in Romania, and brought it back to England. There, the dog learned how to get around on just two feet. Because of her unique way of getting around, she was given the name “Roo.” Last December, Nikki Dick and her husband Ian came across Roo, they instantly fell in love with the dog. They take Roo to weekly hydrotherapy and physiotherapy sessions to ease the strain on her back caused by standing on her hind legs. Despite her disability, Roo is just like any other dog.
