Dogs are loyal friends who are always there to offer a cuddle and many licks when you need them. Some families may bring a canine into their home for protection but that quickly changes when everyone in the house falls in love with it. If it senses danger, a dog will put itself front and centre to protect the people it loves. It is hard to imagine what goes through these amazing animal’s mind but one thing is for sure, they do not think of their well-being when it comes to defending their pack. “I’m shocked. He has made the supreme sacrifice for me and my family. I will remember him till our death. I pray God – May his soul rest in peace,” says Raita.
Hundreds of people lay flowers on the body. A burial procession took place in the village. Now the Doberman’s photo is circulating around the world, with people praising the animal’s ultimate sacrifice.
